1. What was your first cosplay? (Think hard on this)
Depends how you put it. First convention cosplay was Galaxia from Sailor Moon to Anime Expo 07. First anime cosplay when I knew what anime was is the Great Saiyaman from DragonBall... This was more of a full body tights outfit with a green fabric wrapped around, a white bandana, and big sunglasses. So there was no sewing XD.

2. Did someone get you into cosplay? Or on your own?
A bit of both. I had wanted to do it forever, I am responsible for my Great Saiyaman one, but DALover and I kinda made a pact to go ad Galaxia and Iron Mouse, so technically she got me into the convention going part.

3. What is your favourite cosplay?
Rip Van Winkle from Hellsing Dawn. It was less rushed but 10x more stressfull and I felt I was more in character. :D

4. Which is your least favourite?
I am going to have to say Galaxia. I love it but the hair was undoable, the wind at Long Beach tore it up and the fabric was heck to work with. Oh and I forgot my shorts for it and had to rip/cut my jeans up to makeshift at AX.

5. At conventions, do people compliment you on your cosplays? (Unless you're a closet cosplayer you can skip this one)6. How many have you done?
I have had a few compliments. I would think I would get more if I was characters that people know. I always like the obscure characters and animes.

7. What are the top 5 on your list of "Want to Cosplay"?
1. Battle Integra (Extreamly Intricate)
2. Dawn Rip Van Winkle (Remake)
3. Girlycard/Alucard (Not the normal outfit that is all I am saying)
4. Integra Hellsing (Alternate outfit)
5. Great Saiyaman (With helmet and bandana)

8. (Girls only) What female cosplay do you want to do most?
Battle Integra. I was originally supposed to do that one this year, but it was too intricate to get done in the time I had left. Rip, eventhough I sarted 8 months in advanced was being worked on up to litterally the last second.

9. What male cosplay do you want to do most?
That depends if you catigorize Girlycard as M or F. :P I guess I will say Great Saiyaman since I have wanted to redo it for litterally 8 years.

10. What do you prefer to do, make or buy your costumes?
I don't want to buy my costumes ever. Parts is obviously ok, but the funnest part is making it and going through the torment and tears, then again I could just be masocistic. There is no other feeling like a complement on your own work.

11. Your most memorable experience? What makes it so memorable?
AX08. Went with all my bffs, got to cosplay almost every day, got bitten by Alucard, met Major, Anderson and Captain, Realized day 4 that our room was conjoined to Captains and we could have had a millenium party XD Got to meet all the Hellsing cosplayers and Deviantart friends and get hundreds of images. <3

12. Your dream cosplay?
I am not sure. It changes all the time. I have to say that currently it is Battle Integra.

13. Is there a pattern in your cosplays? If so, what? (Things like they have a certain personality, or hair colour)
Oh IDK, you mean besides the fact that 4/5 are from Hellsing?

14. Your most recent cosplay?
Going to by fangs and wig for Girlycard, but also various other things for all others. Going to start on Battle Integra soon tho.

15. What do you prefer? Cosplaying in a group or on your own?
Group. The chances of people noticing one of the characters in your group is higher. Plus you know at least you won't be the only one cosplaying from that series and you have your friends with you if all else fails.

Mom said I look like a big gold jellybean... X_X I was going more for GALAXIA THE SUPER VILLAIN OF STARS AND SENSHI OF "THE GALAXY", but I guess a big gold jelly bean is close enough... -_- I guess it will have to do tho.. I kinda feel like I let the cosplay group down. You all expecting a super spiffy Galaxia and I am only a big fat jellybean.... V_V I wish I knew all the stuff about making a costume that I realized now. You have to start somewhere I suppose. It doesn't help that I am "slightly" big boned...ahem... slightly being the understatement of the CENTURY. What can I say, we all can't be 7ft tall and weigh 105 pounds like the senshi. x_x

I have never been good at keeping up with online diaries. I never remember to update. I don't really do anything anyways so there is nothing to put into it. :P Just wanted to update and say that my Galaxia cosplay is coming along good. Really all I have to do is make the necklace and belt out of leaves. I kinda messed up tho... on the front... X_X Guess I should have looked into the materials better before starting the costume. I guess that is what you learn on your first cosplay costume though. I was going to take it apart and resew it but i was worried I wouldn't have enough time. I am annoyed that I can't find any daimon shaped jewel and large jewels for my wrist bands and shoulder pad things. So they aren't going to be as awesome as I wanted, but oh well. That is life. ::sigh::

First Post. Lol. I am tired. I am off to bed. Just wanted to post something since it is my first time on here. :P I signed up for SMC_Cosplay and am hoping to go as Galaxia to Anime Expo 2007. Horray. Alrighty I am off to bed.
